    Unpack & Position

    What is it? 

    To make the delivery of your new equipment run smoothly, we have an unpack & position service available. Standard delivery services will only deliver your goods to a kerb side location, leaving you with the issue of moving a potentially large and high value item into your premises. Our unpack and position service removes all of this hassle for you and means your equipment will be safely delivered exactly where you need it, providing that it’s safe for our couriers to do so. 


    How do I qualify?

    To qualify for unpack and position, you must be sure that the goods will fit through the doors of your premises, that there is a clear route to the entrance door and a clear space when entering the building. If your equipment is being taken up stairs, it’s essential that you inform us of how many stairs and whether the item will be going around a corner to raise awareness of any potential health and safety issues prior to delivery.

    It’s always helpful for us to receive photographs of your premises, to check with our couriers the safety and possibility around unpacking and positioning your new equipment. Where possible, the dimensions of your door frames will help us ensure a safe delivery.


    How soon can I get it? 

    Currently we cannot offer unpack & position and next day delivery at the same time on an item. All unpack and position deliveries are alongside our standard 3-5 working day delivery service.

    Frequently asked questions

    It's our mission to get your order from our warehouse to your business on the date stated in your email confirmation. Please read on for all of our important delivery information.


    Standard Delivery

    Our standard delivery service is 2-3 working days, and includes kerbside delivery at your premises.

    Your item will be delivered as close as possible to your premises and our delivery drivers will only unload your goods where it is safe and secure to do so.


    Free Next Working-Day Delivery

    All orders over £100 excluding VAT qualify for our free next working day delivery service. If your order is under £100, a charge of £8.50 will apply.

    Please note, NI is excluded from our free next working day delivery on orders over £100 ex VAT along with the following postcodes: HS, KW, IV, PH, PA, BT. For these areas, only our 2-3 working day delivery is available. Additionally, we are unable to offer next working day delivery to Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Isles and Isles of Scilly.

    If your postcode falls under the following areas, your order will be delivered the next working day by noon or at the end of the business day: AB, DD, FK, KA, ML, SA, TA & EX.


    Delivery Cut Off Times

    To qualify for next day delivery, your order will need to be placed before 4.30pm Monday to Thursday. If you select next day delivery after 4.00pm on Thursday and before 4.00pm on Friday, your order will be delivered on Monday.

    Order before 4.00pm on Friday for Saturday delivery services. Orders placed after 4.00pm on Friday will be dispatched on Monday.
    Orders must pass security checks and be paid in full before 4.30pm.
    Standard deliveries take place Monday to Friday, usually between 8am and 6pm, but they can be as late as 9pm.

    To qualify for next day delivery, your order must be paid for in full before the cut off point.


    Click & Collect

    Our Click & Collect service is perfect for when you need a quick upgrade or replacement, and our help is always on hand. If you’re able to travel to our warehouse based in Seaham (SR7 9DR), we’re available to help with the same day collection of your new equipment during our usual working hours of Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.

    When a much loved part of your kitchen breaks down or you need a fast upgrade, our help is always on hand. If you’re willing to travel to our warehouse based in Seaham, we’re on hand to help with the same day collection of your new equipment.

    Simply select Click & Collect at checkout and give us a call when you arrive, we’ll take care of the rest.

    Finance Enquiry

    As part of our ongoing commitment to the UK's catering industry and a solid understanding of how important your equipment is to your business and livelihood, we’re dedicated to fixing all products under warranty as soon as possible. 


    What should I do if my equipment stops working correctly?


    We’re never happy to hear that your product is faulty or has stopped working as it should. In the instance that your equipment stops working,, the best way to report your fault is via our Customer Service team. They will discuss the details of the fault with you, and explain next steps for getting your equipment back up and running.


    What should I do if my warranty has expired? 


    Every purchase you make from ECatering comes with Lifetime Technical Support, which means we will support you throughout the lifetime of your product regardless of warranty. In the case that your warranty has expired, we’re still on hand to help. Give us a call or send us an email and we’ll be happy to recommend an engineer to inspect and repair your equipment at the best possible cost. If required, we are also happy to help source any parts you may require, but please note these parts will be chargeable. 




    Please note, the following items are specifically excluded from the warranty provided: bulbs, glass, pizza oven decks, components such as (but not limited to) switches, buttons, rubber seals, blades, gaskets, filters and toaster elements. 

    Any products that are supplied “Free of Charge” are excluded from any warranty. 

    Warranties cannot be applied to Graded Products.  



    How can I place an order?

    All orders can be placed online on our website or over the telephone via our dedicated Customer Services team on 0333 358 3678. 


    Do you offer finance?

    We have a range of finance options available to assist with replacing essential equipment during those unexpected times or simply to help your cash-flow. If you need to spread the cost, we have a range of finance options available depending on your circumstances to help get the job done as smoothly as possible.     Will I receive an order acknowledgment and acceptance?

    If you have supplied us with your email address, we will notify you by email as soon as possible to acknowledge your order. Please note that this email is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from the Company. Our acceptance of your order will take place upon dispatch of the product(s) ordered.


    Can I change / cancel an order once it's placed?

    In the first instance, please contact our customer service team on 0333 358 3678. Alternatively, you can email with your change / cancellation details. If your order has not yet been dispatched, then it may be possible to amend your order free of charge. However, if you have received your order, and you wish to change or cancel goods, you will have to pay a 25% restocking charge and return the goods to us new, unused and in their original packaging. We reserve the right to waive any of these charges at our discretion.
