Why add Loxa protection?
Loxa Protection covers your appliance against accidental damage and faults that are not typically covered by the manufacturer warranty. This includes events such as drops, spills, cracks, electrical or mechanical breakdown, and other sudden unexpected damage.
It also extends protection beyond the manufacturer warranty period, so your appliance is covered for longer against common causes of failure. If your purchase is damaged by an insured event, you may be eligible for repair or replacement, so you are not left out of pocket.
Loxa provides a simple and fast claims journey designed to be low stress and customer friendly, giving peace of mind if your appliance develops a fault or suffers accidental damage during the cover period.
For Contender products ordered on or after 16 February 2026, Loxa Product Protection applies.
Orders placed before this date remain covered by the manufacturer’s warranty in place at the time of purchase.
Who is Loxa?
Loxa is eCatering’s protection plan partner for appliance cover. Loxa specialises in product protection and extended warranty solutions and manages policy administration and claims handling from end to end through its specialist claims and repair network.
What do I get with Loxa protection?
Depending on the appliance and the plan selected, Loxa Protection may cover:

Protection after the manufacturer warranty has expired

Manufacturer’s warranty for the Contender brand
Repairs are carried out by qualified technicians either at your premises, at an authorised repair centre, or through an approved service partner.
If the cost of repair exceeds the replacement value, the appliance may be replaced. If replacement is not possible, a voucher or store credit may be offered in line with the policy terms.

How do I purchase Loxa protection?
You can add Loxa Protection on the product page when viewing an eligible appliance
All eligible Contender items include a complementary protection against accidental damages and mechanical or electrical breakdown. Further details on the protection provided with all Contender items, are available in your policy documents.
For all non-Contender items, protection must be purchased for each appliance individually, including multiple quantities of the same model.
When does cover start and how long does it last?
Your cover starts from the date shown on your protection plan certificate. The cover duration is confirmed in your policy schedule issued after purchase.
Damage in transit or delivery issues are handled by eCatering under their delivery and returns process, not under the protection plan.
Where can I find my policy documents?
Your policy documents, wording and certificate are provided by email after purchase. They can also be accessed through your Loxa customer portal app.loxacover.com/login included in your confirmation message.
Please check your spam folder if you cannot find your confirmation email.
How can I cancel or change my Loxa protection?
You can cancel your protection within the first 30 days for a full refund if no claim has been made.
To cancel or update your details, use the Loxa customer portal link provided in your confirmation email or follow the instructions in your policy documents.
What if I return my appliance?
If you return your appliance within the retailer’s return window, you can also request cancellation and refund of the protection plan, subject to the policy terms.
How do I make a claim?
You can start a claim using the Loxa claims link provided in your policy confirmation email and documents.
The online claim form guides you step by step. The claims team will review your submission and provide next steps, which may include repair, replacement or reimbursement depending on the outcome and policy terms.
Please keep your purchase receipt and any requested evidence available to support your claim.
I purchased multiple appliances. How do I know which plan applies?
Each protection plan is linked to a specific appliance. Your policy schedule shows the covered item details so you can easily match each plan to each appliance.
How do I get support?
