It's our mission to get your order from our warehouse to your business on the date stated in your email confirmation. Please read on for all of our important delivery information.

Standard Delivery

Our standard delivery service is 2-3 working days, and includes kerbside delivery at your premises.

Your item will be delivered as close as possible to your premises and our delivery drivers will only unload your goods where it is safe and secure to do so.

 Free Next Working-Day Delivery

All orders over £100 excluding VAT qualify for our free next working day delivery service. If your order is under £100, a charge of £8.50 will apply.

Please note, NI is excluded from our free next working day delivery on orders over £100 ex VAT along with the following postcodes: HS, KW, IV, PH, PA, BT. For these areas, only our 2-3 working day delivery is available. Additionally, we are unable to offer next working day delivery to Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Isles and Isles of Scilly.

If your postcode falls under the following areas, your order will be delivered the next working day by noon or at the end of the business day: AB, DD, FK, KA, ML, SA, TA & EX.

Delivery Cut Off Times

To qualify for next day delivery, your order will need to be placed before 5pm Monday to Thursday. If you select next day delivery after 5pm on Thursday and before 5pm on Friday, your order will be delivered on Monday.

Order before 5pm on Friday for Saturday delivery services. Orders placed after 5pm on Friday will be dispatched on Monday.
Orders must pass security checks and be paid in full before 5pm.
Standard deliveries take place Monday to Friday, usually between 8am and 6pm, but they can be as late as 9pm.

To qualify for next day delivery, your order must be paid for in full before the cut off point.

 Click & Collect

Our Click & Collect service is perfect for when you need a quick upgrade or replacement, and our help is always on hand. If you’re able to travel to our warehouse based in Seaham (SR7 9DR), we’re available to help with the same day collection of your new equipment during our usual working hours of Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.

Returns

Returns
At ECatering, we understand that in a busy kitchen, plans can change or the wrong equipment might be ordered.

If you need to return an item, you can submit a return request through your ECatering account on the Returns page, and our team will guide you every step of the way.

Collections
For larger pallet items, we can arrange collection from your premises. The cost will be deducted from your refund.

For smaller parcel items, you’re welcome to return them using your preferred courier service.

Condition of Returns
To qualify for a full refund, products should be as-new and in their original packaging, ready to be safely used in another professional kitchen.

Restocking Fees
All returned equipment is carefully inspected and tested to ensure it meets the high standards required in commercial kitchens.

To cover inspection, testing, and repackaging, a restocking fee applies:
25% for standard returns
40% if the item cannot be returned to stock in saleable condition

Non-Returnable Items
Some products cannot be returned, including:
Used or customised items
Perishable goods
Items purchased as part of a promotion (we’ll provide a store credit instead)

Types of Commercial Drinks Fridges

By Configuration: Single door (100-200L) for small cafés and offices. Double door (200-300L) for busy bars and restaurants. Triple door (300L) for nightclubs and high-volume venues.

By Placement: Upright models (1800-2000mm height) for maximum visibility. Undercounter coolers (900mm height) for space-saving. Back bar coolers (850-900mm) for bartender access.

Undercounter Drinks Fridges

Undercounter drinks fridges (also called bar fridges or undercounter bottle coolers) fit beneath counters at 900mm height, accommodating 80-250 bottles. Glass Door Drinks Fridges

Use formula: Daily Sales × Bottle Size × 1.5 = Minimum Capacity. Small café (30-50): 80-150L. Busy café (80-150): 150-250L. Bar/pub (100-200): 250-400L. Restaurant (100+): 300-500L. High-volume (300+): 500L+. Wine needs 25-30% more space. Allow 30-50% buffer for peaks.

What temperature should a drinks fridge be?

Lager/mainstream beer: 3-5°C. Craft beer/ales: 6-8°C. White wine/champagne: 6-10°C. Soft drinks: 4-6°C. Energy drinks: 2-4°C. Best practice: 4-5°C for multi-beverage storage. Check daily, avoid <2°C (freezing) or >10°C (quality issues).
